I served with Alton Miller while our Infantry Company taskforce sliced in a platoon of tanks and then we all were sliced over to the 82nd Airborne. This was back in 2003 and we were just outside of Fallujah and did a majority of our combat operations right in that city and the surrounding areas. The first time that I heard him sing this song was during a memorial for two fallen soldiers back in 03. Today, he's professionally singing.
